Stem is a network application toolkit and framework. It is an event driven message passing system in pure Perl. It can be easily configured to create a wide range of applications such as clients and servers, daemons, and complex networked applications. Creating and integrating new modules into Stem is supported by its high level API.
There are many subprojects that can use help from apprentices of all experience levels. These include support utilities, new modules, testing scaffolds, documentation, and more. Stem itself covers such a wide range of Perl that there is definitely some project that will fit your skills and interests.
The Stem apprentice program is alive with one apprentice project being developed and several other subscribed to our mailing list. Send email to apprentice-subscribe@stemsystems.com to join it and then send an email telling us about your skills and interests.
